We paid a premium for our new car, but there was only one new one left in Australia in white with light interior, in western NSW, so a 269km one way trip. Went there once to look at it & again to pick it up a few months later for our preferred registration date due to typical travelling. So it went into storage.

I traded my 75k miles 14 plate FL2 SD4 XS auto with full LR service history and a new cambelt for about £8k last November and it appeared on a (non LR) dealers forecourt for £11900 about a month later with new MOT having failed on rear rear pads and discs (so would have been replaced) and probably needed new tyres and a warranty. So £12k for a private sale sounds way over to me. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto 5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE |

I've just traded in my 2014, 64 plate Metropolis, with 121,000 miles on the clock in great condition for it's miles and got £7k exactly for it. |

I take it that you are in the USA, so LR2?
