Disconetected start &stop ??

Hello, does anyone know how to cancel the operation of the start&stop function (eco button) on a 2009 fre2 td4.e?

Not sure what your query is as you mention 'ECO' button.

ECO Button switches 'Auto Stop/Start' off.
See page 60 of the Handbook.

Hello, what I'm referring to is whether it is possible to cancel this function so that I don't have to press the eco button every time I start the car. In brands like Audi, it is possible to permanently deactivate it using diagnostic software.

I'm pretty sure there is an option in SDD to disable it. Can I ask why you want it turned off permanently? Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Gone.
2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. Gone.
Audi A5 convertible, my daily driver.

Yes... that's what I want, deactivate it permanently or like in Audi, reverse the operation of the button, if possible, so that it is deactivated every time you start the car and be able to activate the system if you want by pressing the button. But oh well. ...I'm happy with deactivating it permanently. Thank you.

It has to be turned off manually as JLR will have submitted the car for emissions tests based on stop/start being available by default. It similar on a lot of cars. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

Ok...thanks.I bought a mongoose cable with jlr sdd, but it came with version v164 and I cannot install it on the computer that I use for cars, and it has Windows XP and I think v164 is not compatible. I am looking to download v138 or v160. Thank you

It is easier to install WINDOWS7 x64 and 164 SDD and this is the best option.

I think you would be far safer just pressing the eco off button every time you drive the car rather than trying to mess about with the cars ecu it could end in tears Big Cry

Be aware you will need a battery supply charger that gives the battery 20-25+ constant amps and will stop the battery from dropping below 13 volts when using SDD. You will also have to get into engineering mode. Do your research and don't panic if you encounter a problem.
