Where to get the HS2 screw for freelander 2 tailgate handle

As I am working on this right now, I need a few of these. I don't have the Land Rover part number, as my system won't show this. Where can I get it, and what is the part number?

Kind regards,
Redfox.

I don’t think Redfox will be ordering from John Craddock!

Thanks for the replies!

So, is it really BYP500220, as that is only 6 x 10mm, where as in my parts finder system, the screw is listed as HS2, which is also found on the rear fender - HS 2, part nr. RYG500650, which is slightly longer at M6 x 18mm, + washer as the one you describe and link to. I haven't got the car with me at the moment, as it was rearended by a clown who sped up his nasty mondeo, only to hit a Smart4two which was shot off flying into my Freelander...

The Smart? totalled completely.

My Freelander 2? New hook because it was very lightly bent (no chassis damage or something else) and a scratch on the fender + a very small dent in the tailgate, all now being done at the workshop. No problem. Except this bolt.

Which could it be?

Kind regards,
Redfox.

ps: John Craddock? Nah, I'll try the other ones first Wink

That bolt looks nothing special. Surely obtainable from lots of places.
What's it holding in place ? Jules

I can add that the bolt does have a completely flat head, that slides into the mounting clips (integrated) on the tailgate handle.

Kind regards,
Redfox.

I cant find a pic of the tailgate handle .

This is the best I can do.

HS2 is a M8 x 16mm it says

The problem with searching for HS2 in the UK is that you stuff about an expensive railway of dubious value. Laughing Jules

That must be the problem.
My parts finder program works with the vin, but is probably not complete. I'll therefore call my local official Land Rover dealership and ask them.
If I manage to find the parts number, I'll write it back here for future use.

Kind regards,
Redfox.
