You can remove it and it won't hurt anything, other than 4WD and probably the traction control stuff. You'll need to disconnect the haldex power as well. You'll get a bunch of warning lights, but it will still work in front wheel drive. |

It'll spin the front wheels a lot more easily upon setting off (its one of the tests for loss of 4WD on the FL2). Jules |

If you simply remove the propshaft, then the car won't know about it and everything included the traction control will still work. It will however spin the front wheels very easily, so throttle needs using with care.
