I know exactly what your going through,

my previous car was bounced on by a motor bike whilst parked on my driveway. The garage ordered the replacement dashboard and it took a total of 8 months to repair. Kia had ordered the dashboard as a stock order, not a VOR (vehicle off road order), and every body who wanted a dashboard on VOR got it before me, it wasn't realised until I spoke to KIA directly and she said it had been ordered as a SRO (stock replacement order) thats when the penny dropped, and it turned up 3 week later.
