Rear anti roll bar

Hello Not been on here for a while. My rear antiroll bar has snapped and it seems getting a new one is impossible. Currently on the breaker search and whether an eBay one Ive ordered will turn up is the question. Anybody else had similar issues ?

Thanks

Dean

There appear to be three part numbers all for the same thing.

https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/l...code=35996

LR005545 is available.

LR029300 and LR034393 are not at this site.

I think you need LR029300 Jules

As you say, it does say in stock for that part number but way too confusing . Don't know if its the rear , but probably. The main dealer where I live said none in stock anywhere at land rover ??

I had to repeatedly search ebay to get a LH disk brake mudshield - none in stock in normal retailers.

I expect sourcing less commonly used parts is is only going to get worse

Not even used ones in the UK on ebay - loads of bushes and drop links but no ARBs.

Have to ask how did it get broken ?

Would one off an Evoque mk1 fit ? Jules

It broke as I just pulled away from a fuel station. No stress or anything and had an easy life. A bang from the back and then I found the bar sheered

Don’t know about the Evoques, but dealers have not suggested it unsurprisingly

Try a few breakers?
Never heard of an ARB breaking before so I'd say a used one would be fine. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Not many people have heard of this ! Someone on Facebook FL2 owners group had same thing, but his was 5 years older than mine. It must have been a metal fault as it was quite a clean break . I did have 4 wheel alignment done in august but probably not connected

Generally ARBs don't break. Actually they are so resilient that they used to be used as part of the front lower control arm assembly on many vehicles of the past. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

A rarity. My FL2 appears to be unique 😬
