Clutch pedal sticking slightly despite new CSC / DMF Clutch

Looking for some advice. Bought a 2014 Freelander 2 a few weeks back. Clutch pedal felt as though it stuck slightly on the way back up when i drove it. After a few days, the clutch slave cylinder failed (fluid leaking out the gearbox), so I had a new CSC, DMF and Clutch fitted, as well as the clutch valve pipe that resides in the gearbox.

The New LUK CSC failed immediately upon bleeding, so had to get gearbox back off and another CSC fitted, this time from Land Rover.

Its all back together today and all works, but clutch pedal still feels a bit sticky on return, the last inch or so.

Does anyone think the fault could be with the master cylinder, clutch pedal assembly or the bulkhead o-ring (per the screenshot below?) Cant be the hydraulics inside the gearbox now...

Thanks! 2014 Metropolis in Loire Blue

Had all bits of my clutch replaced a few years ago and it started sticking again at top of travel. Garage changed the pedal assembly and been ok since. The pedal was twisted a bit !

Thanks Deano, i saw your posts about this wheni was doing some frantic searching. I have bought a new master cylinder from land rover and it is being fitted on monday, but i will have the pedal inspected and tested as part of that.

When the csc failed and the clutch went to the floor, if you pulled the pedal back up it happily sprung back without any interference. This is what makes me think it is a hydraulic issue, ao im hoping the new MC resolves it 2014 Metropolis in Loire Blue

Well, after 6.5hrs of misery, i today fitted both a brand new master cylinder and a new clutch pedal assembly, thus everything clutch wise is totslly new now.

I think my old pedal is totally fine, but i ordered the new one in advance anyway as it wasnt a job i fancied doing twice!

Anyway, not a fun job, glad to have it out the way. Feeling pretty sore now!

Did the new MC fix the problem?
