Go for a genuine fuel filter even if the rest are pattern parts the fuel filter has a thermostat in it that other cheaper ones don't, though I have heard Bosch fuel filters are ok and do not cause any problems.

I've always used the genuine filters kit but last time bought this Bosch kit and millers oil which was a pretty decent price.

Yes I also thought that Cooper's were OEM, I have used Cooper's before and had no problems but I purchased genuine last time round. |

If you service vehicle yourself then personally i always go for genuine (they fit exactly and built for that vehicle plus warranty).

Have experienced problems with my Freelander 2 throughout the summer. Cured by removing the non-genuine fuel filter and fitting the genuine one. |

Hello Volrider, all I can say is be careful, I recently heard of an oil filter purchased from a motor part accessory shop “well known” unfortunately not revealing the name sold a branded oil filter which internally imploded, resulting in the RAC report as catastrophic.
