Ireland 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Stornoway Grey
Eletrical gremlins left /nearside

Hi
I posted earlier about power fold mirror not working properly. ( this sometimes, moves / half folds other times no movement)

I now have a few other problems - if the car sits for 48hours the battery is completely flat, new battery has been installed. still same problem today after 2 weeks trouble free.

Also on the nearside, front and rear windows take multiple presses of the button's to put up or down.

Back door nearside sometimes locks and unlocks ok and other times you need to lock and unlock car twice to make it work.

Are these faults related. I'm guessing battery drain may be due to mirror drawing power and trying to fold.

Any ideas.

Could try taking the fuse out for the folding mirrors and see if the power drain stops?

They shut down quicker and more completely when double locked I’ve read on here anyway hope it helps your drain problem as it’s an easy one.

The windows need calibration, as you've disconnected the battery. Instructions on doing the window calibration is in the handbook.

Always press the lock button twice as A, the computers shut down faster, and B, the deadlocks and interior sensors are active. 1 press on the lock button isn't very secure, and designed if pets are left in the vehicle for a few minutes, without the alarm sounding. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. thanks for all the replies.

I have an autel and run the diagnostics this morning - basically returning communication errors.

I had a spare control module for back door fitted it and now everything working as they should on passengers side Mirror, windows and locks so hopefully all sorted.
