Found our twin!

Had to park in a hospital today and found one of the only spaces left, space next to me had a matching Freelander in it!

What are the chances? Was hoping that the owner of the other one would return before me and have a laugh.

Ukraine 2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

A few years ago in Mt Isa, north Queensland. A few variations, my car right in photo, petrol vs diesel, his was the 2012 version.

But probably he was a winner on his trip. He drove ahead & would pick up Wifey after a 3000km as she didn't want to travel be road.

Mt Isa Freelander convention!

I emulated his trip in 2019. Wifey flew in to Perth from Germany & I drove from Sydney 4000km to pick her up from the airport. That was another two weeks of peace & quiet!

Earlier that year I had a month in Tasmania by myself... & the Freelander! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

My encounter was only 15mins from home so not as impressive but cheered me up.

Seems to be a lot of Freelys in our area these days. The inflated used market prices must be making the freely a good choice vs its competitors.
