I have a false tyre pressure alert on my 16 plate MY15. I don’t know if is a fault or possibly an end of life sensor. Does anybody know how long the batteries in the TPMS sensors should last? Potted LR history since 1990:

I have the external ones as it was easier as I carry 2 spare wheels in the outback. Internal sensors with only one spare wheel is not an option.

TPMS Battery life is 5Y after that it deteriorates creating false signals this in turn accelerates TPMS battery failure. |

I'm being dense. What is the Ipack? Also is it possible to change the batteries in the senders? Potted LR history since 1990: Mk3 LWB Safari, Defender 90 County, Disco, Disco, FL1, FL1 RHD, FL1 Sport MY08 TD4 HSE, MY15 TD4 SE Tech |

I replace them all when i get new tires if they're 4-5+ years old.
