I keep an eye on the market place for freelander 2 and this advert caught my eye
I would certainly say its buyer beware it initially looked luke a good price but I noticed although its a dynamic with an auto box its listed as a td4
I first thought it was just a listing error but it's badged td4 too
As far as I am aware that all the autos were sd4 and manuals td4 on the later cars

Pretty sure the Td4 was still available in manual and automatic towards end of production. I've seen Td4 badged automatics in car parks, I tend to give them a passing look when I see one parked up. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

The 2015 sales brochure indicates that TD4 cars were manual and SD4 cars were auto.

By then, as run-out models, there were only three cars to choose from, SE and SE Tech which could be either TD4/Manual or SD4/Auto. The Metropolis was only available in SD4 flavour.

ED4 cars only availabe as Manual across all 6 trim levels
All six trim levels were available as TD4/Manual or TD4/Auto
All trim levels except 'S' were available as SD4/auto.
