sd4 IAT sensor

Hi all I am on the hunt for a answer to a question regarding the IAT on my 2011 sd4 190bhp.
Where is it ? Confused
I have had a steadily increasing fault off rough running and poor idle mainly when the engine is at idle after normal road speed drive e.g. in stop start traffic or after starting the car when it is warm and has been standing for about 15 mins. I have had the codes read and it came back with various mainly related to MAP sensor air flow too low. but also MAF sensor faults
So this afternoon I set about removing and and cleaning said items, when I removed the MAP sensor it was clogged to Censored as was the hole into which it fits so I removed the throttle body to try and gain better access to the adapter that sits between the throttle unit and the intake manifold ( the bit the MAP sits in)and that's when I discovered that there is no IAT sensor fitted in it's normal location just a rubber blanking plug.
There doesn't appear to be any wiring plugs or harness floating around that area so I'm at a bit of a loss was the IAT integrated into the MAF sensor on the later facelift 2011 onward models ?
Also the inlet into the adapter that the EGR cross pipe attaches to is clogged solid with soot however I have no active MIL or smoke issues.
