Yes, my insurance has rocketed by over £100 and that's after shopping around! annoyingly I do far less miles than 10 years ago.......And I'm not even eighty..Yet, well close. DAVE. |

Yes we only have it for towing the caravan, hence why it will be sorned in the winter. So the mileage to tax costs is out of scale |

I know but I don't know why it is a month later - just an unexplained oddity. Normally, a valid MoT test certificate is required from the third year registration anniversary date - in my case, 8th November 2016 - and then on the same date each year thereafter. (The car has been continuously taxed since first registration and annually MOT tested since late 2016 - it has never been SORNed). |

What is your date of registration? Mine is also an e stop-start manual but £290, first registered in Nov '09. 2005 D3 2.7 Auto Previously: 2010 MY FL2 TD4e GS - Now gone at 199,500 miles, about 135,000 of them mine. ‘93 Defender 110 200TDi CSW ‘87 Defender 90 4 cyl Petrol ‘83 110 CSW V8 - best ever! Range Rover 2-door V8 (not sure of year - 4-speed box and vacuum diff switch) Series III SWB Diesel |

Tax rates increased on April 1st. £290 is now £320. I know cos I got stung |

My tax has just come through at £320 this year as well - 63 plate MY13 HSE Lux Santorini Black Gone

I doubt it. I would have thought that most of the older ones being traded-in will be going for scrap/export rather than sold on the local market. 2005 D3 2.7 Auto
