Check the fuse list and wiring diagram, IIRC there are unused fuse slots which are hot at all times. |

I use the interior light supply, but it shuts down after 20 minutes or so. I can't see why a dash cam needs 2 supplies, seems overly complicated and unnecessary to me. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

The switched wire normally puts the camera into and out of continuous recording mode . The permanent feed is the parking mode if enabled , and is often used to monitor the battery condition , turning the camera off at a voltage that you’ve predetermined using wifi and an app . I’ve just fitted a BlackVue that’s got a 3 wire supply . The chap who fitted a security system for me on a new vehicle popped me a couple of piggy back fuse leads into one of the fuse boxes and then left the Blavkvue fuses inline for warranty purposes , quick , clean , neat installation . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

If you want a constant feed for a dashcam I recommend that you use a separate battery. Freelander's don't like a starter battery which is a bit tired.
