New Tyres

I am fumming Evil or Very Mad

Went to get two new tyres today. "Where's the locking wheel nut key mate?"
Embarassed "Dunno"

10 mins searching later ....no key

Several phone calls to MK Stratstones.......King Herod time....140point checklist....etc etc

Ring Marshalls P'boro "how much for new one?" ... "£28" "Ok just do it" "We need the 8 digit code from the key"

Apparently this is not kept by Land Rover but by the dealer who sold it (WHY?)

Eventually find out that service have master keys. So we removed old lock nuts and put on new set
price?

£22 go figure Rolling Eyes

My dealer doesn't bother with my locking wheel nut they just use there own

tell me that it wasn't in the glovebox each time and I reply saying I know it's in the locking wheel nut holder hidden in the boot which they don't know about Whistle Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

When I took delivery of my car the dealer told me not to leave the locking wheel nut key in the glove box, but in the boot by the spare wheel. Of course it's still in the glove box.
