Bonnet Insulation

I have a length of floppy bonnet insulation at the front where the rubber strip is. Can't see a way of fixing it back to the bonnet. As far as I can see there are no clips on that section. Any ideas gratefully received.

Double sided sticky tape. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.

The rubber strip is separate from the insulation. The actual insulation is so thin it is next to useless.

The additional insulation is all adhesive backed & the original placed back on top. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
