Coolant drip

A fitting has failed causing coolant to leak onto the alternator electrics. I've replaced the alternator but the main dealer is taking forever to respond to emails.
The faulty fitting is here.

I suspect that the fitting might not be available on its own.so. will probably need to replace the pipe it is connected to that returns back to the coolant reservoir.
Any help very welcome and appreciated.

Thanks

I got the entire part I believe from LR and it was not ridiculously priced in Ontario, Canada. If memory serves, there is an o ring on the connection valve as well. That could be missing? Give the parts dept in any dealership a call and give them your vin and have them give you a quote for parts with the part numbers.

thanks for the replies, very helpful.

I got it sorted by the main dealer in the next town. Took a few days as they decided to use email instead of ringing me direct!

just short of £8.00 and a 30 second job.

i looked at the amazon links to the same part and they were stoopid money, over £75.00.

ive got a pic of the official ID from the dealer if it helps anyone.

Had exactly same issue a couple of years or so ago, LR have modified the pipe, got one (genuine) on next day delivery from Duckworth, Market Rasen. Sorry can't remember price & part no. but it wasn't expensive. Parts guy extremely helpful and knew straight away which pipe when described to him. There are some posts on this if you do a search, including a mod. where a deflection plate was installed beneath the connection to block which prevents water dripping on to alternator should the issue arise again. To date not had any issues with the modified pipe supplied & fitted.
