Thank you for your reply, do you have a link for your bleeder pipe with non return valve, i do seem to recollect that i had one somewhere a few years ago so i will search the shed today while tidying it up.


I use a length of silicone tubing. A bolt screwed into one end seals it and the weight keeps the tube inside a jar. Just made a small cut lengthways about 1cm long with a Stanley knife near the end. When you press the pedal the pressure opens the cut and old fluid leaks out into the jar. Keep the cut below the fluid in the jar and no air can get back in. Jules

I was right i did have a bleed kit, well kits Thumbs Up hidden at the back of the draw in one of the two big filing cabinets i have.

I have used the old method with the pot and locking off the nipple each time.
