Problem wasn't an issue before new clutch and flywheel fitted, it is a problem now, garage admit it's an issue.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Barolo Black

Luckily I have a good relationship with the garage and they've always been very quick to address any of their faults. Yes, this may be a bigger issue to locate and deal with but I will be going back to them with the even stronger conviction that the problem does lie with the new clutch. Many thanks to all.
