Usb socket in 2013 model

OK. I took out the centre console while chasing a srs problem. How on earth do you reconnect the USB cable as there is no space at all to get a hand in there. Grrr

Did you actually undo all the screws. It is a bit tight in there but I have had it up to install additional acoustic insulation under it (worthwhile doing since you are in there). Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Initially I just removed the top of the console. The usb had been left disconnected by a previous person. I undid the screws that held the bottom part an I could just about get a hand under it to connect it.
However, after all that I am now getting a handbrake switch fault warning and it is no longer working. Also lost the cigarette lighter power for some odd reason. It is all connected but I guess it is just testing me, lol.
