Oil Change before heading to the Alps

Hi Folks
Am after some advice on oil. Am planning on taking my 2007 freelander 2 to the Apls on a boarding holiday.
My question is should I use the 0W30 oil or will 5W30 be fine? Question more about the lower temperature in the Alps.

Have been to Alps and Pyrenees many times and never changed the oil. Did 365,000 miles in a range rover over 11 years with no issues.

Several times during February but mostly at Easter and summer. However there was usually snow on ground during easter.
