Lots of genuine parts shot up in price once JLR declared the FL2 obsolete.

thanks everyone for your replies. I will look what I can find online somewhere then, otherwise might stick it on. That price does seem a bit expensive, wow!

They come up from time to time on ebay - this cover was completely missing on my car, I was worried about the passenger's feet damaging the fuse board. After watching ebay for a few months I got one for about £30.

Although various places list it as a new item, when I called around I was told that this part was in fact no longer available and there were no plans to manufacture any more. So ebay or a breaker may be your only option.

If a fuse box cover is £156.23 I'm glad my actual fuse box worked again after I pulled it apart.
