United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver
Wipers stopped working and plug identification

Hi All,

Today of all days our fl2 has decided to stop having functioning window wipers (torrential rain here right now). I have been through some testing, I have checked the two relays for window wiping (one for on/off, the other for slow/fast) the slow/fast one is actuating, the on/off one is not. I have plugged in my reader and it has returned the fault code: B1095-14 which equates to

Wiper On/Off relay circuit -
short to ground, open
circuit

I am looking to test the wire when weather allows, however it seems all of the technical manuals don't give a description of the plugs, the cable goes from BCM plug-pin C1BP02A-43 to the fuse box. Does anyone know which plug that is? My XF manual gives plug colours at the start of the electrical drawings, but I am unable to find that for the freelander 2.

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Rhys

There's two relays, one that turns the wipers on and off, the other that switches fast and slow. Fast and slow relay was switching, but on and off wasn't, so there was no movement.

Found the white cable on pin43 of the green plug on the bcm was open circuit to the relay, ran a seperate cable in as the loom is too tight to find. It has been fine since, I just hope it's not the first of more broken cables!
