No. It's just a case of unbolting it. The pipes are a pain, and the drive needs careful alignment when refitting, but it's not a difficult job.

Not sure if it's engaging on the cam end I know there a little metal bit tat brakes as pump done appear to be sucking fuel |

From the attached part description it looks like that piece comes with fuel pump.

I think that`s what that part is meant to look like! What makes you think it is broken? It goes between the camshaft and the HP pump to provide drive to the pump. It is usually the end of the camshaft that that part slots into that shears off! |

That part is broken I just pushed it together so you could see the part I found a few similar but there are 3 numbers on it 953 I think wornt sure if that was grade of metal |
