England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

It's got to be heavy rain.
Last week (and for the first time) I had the same where beeping was continuous in the morning after a night of heavy rain. Got the old burger king tissues out and dried the faces - Beeps back to intermittent as normal.

Not happened again yet! FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Sumatra Black

Mine has had the same problem as long as I've owned it. The dealers have looked at the issue on at least 2 occasions and still, heavy rain will cause continuous/random tones, even after rain has stopped. Given some drying time, normal operation will resume. I'm reaching a point where I will take the time to solve it myself. In fact my warranty is up at the end of the year so I guess I'll have no choice?

Anyone got any photos of bumper disassembly?

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Martinique Blue

When mine was in for the first service, they had a look at it and decided it needed some kind of clips replaced. I've not had it done yet as they didnt have the parts in but hopefully when I get around to taking it back in, the beeping in the rain will get solved. 09MY FL2 Td4 XS, Style Pack, Privacy Glass, Martinique Blue.. oh so very blue..

These are basic instuctions foor fitting a removable towbar part of which is removing the bumper, there are screws under the wheel arches that need removing, if you use a chubby screw driver there is no need to remove the wheels, there is a connector for the PDC at one side that will need disconecting, I removed the bumper to fit the towbar & make the cut out, its a straight forward job.
