Did it stay there or disappear, it is known to flash up with a failing battery, the battery may well start the car for a few more months but you may get other alarms and no codes that just disappear, seems to be a Freely thing, mine did it but the battery lasted for 3 more months. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I suspect it may be haldex pump screen blocked or partially blocked, it was with mine. Oil change and filter and the pump screen cleaned sorted it. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

First haldex I ever serviced was on my wife's VW Tiguan. It lost 4wd, noticeably spinning front wheels when pulling out of a junction. (No indication of failure on dashboard of VW) Read up and expected that pump was dead but took it out and tested on spare battery, 2 wires +ve and -,ve. Pump still running but screen blocked. Removed, cleaned and replaced , new oil and filter and 4x4 restored. Hope you or whoever replaced it checked first?

Pump was checked, too high resistance, not working correctly, replaced with new filter and oil, all good now. Parts from Bell Engineering. MY 2013 SD GS Auto |
