Wheel bearing failing? under load its subjected to torque and doesn't have the same 'play'.

To check the front wheel bearings.

A basic check, is the rim hotter than the other side. You don't want a runaway thermal event that will explode a tyre. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
