I would be very surprised judging by the hundreds of comments on here and the lack of knowledge of dealers . Why else would it be such a problem to change oil |

The parts diagram from LR is in fact showing a drain plug, but there isn't one in real life

I drilled and tapped mine, M8 is perfect. I used an M10. The indent is clearly on the case but did not come from the factory with a drain plug. |

JLR must have thought why drain the oil whilst still under warranty - lets remove the drain plugs from PTU and rear diff, save some money and kid the customers it doesnt matter. Jules |

Use Dowty washers. They're cheap, available in many sizes, and never leak. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

So renewed oil in PTU (Castrol bot 118) and managed to get out 580mls of dark oil
