Do the cyclists get fined if they cross the line the other way?

Or travel in road completely ignoring the (costly) cycle lane alongside, which has been built for them.

The same applies to Buses and Bus-Lanes. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)

How does it go with motorcycles - can they use bus lanes or cycle lanes in London?
If so, do they get fined if they stray outside the white line back onto the bit for cars?

It's jut that after 40 years away I have recently bought a motorbike and have heard that some areas allow motorbikes in bus lanes.

Turns out it wasn't a bad idea considering the price of fuel and that the bike does 70-80mpg. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Basically you are not allowed in Bus lanes or Cycle lanes. After 6pm or 7pm or 10pm you are allowed in bus lanes, depending on which part of London you are in and what their council decided. Haven't had to work in London for years and don't want to go back.

Best to read the signs at the start of the bus lanes it will tell what is and what is not permitted to use them and at what times. There is a section of bus lane along the A30 at Camberley which can be used by all traffic outside the rush hour and at weekends but no one uses it and all the traffic ques in the offside lane at the traffic lights because no one reads the signs, I get a lot of dirty looks when I drive right up to the lights in the bus lane when it is open. 2013 FL2 XS.

I think you will find that they are pedal cyclists on pedal cycles.

Possibly missing the point if you are pushing one.

The battery assisted things are called "electrically-assisted pedal cycles" only if the motor is 250W or less and the assistance cuts out at 15.5mph. More powerful or faster and it is technically a moped or even a motorbike.

Calling them Lycra Louts that are on mobile chicanes is possibly inflammatory. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Get a Citroen Ami, no driving license, and driven by fourteen year old ex-cyclists. The lunatics certainly now run the asylum!

Interesting concept though,
front and rear panel interchangeable, left and right doors interchangeable,
top speed 28mph.....ish.
could certainly open up the London city roads,
a lot more room for cyclists Whistle DAVE.

Isn't it allowed to use cycle lanes, small enough, slow enough and less dangerous than an electric scooter or cycle, plenty of room on cycle lanes as cyclists are mostly on the road and it is classed as a quadricycle Whistle my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
