Whats the front wing made of?

Steel or alloy? Common sense isn't very common.

Definitely steel. Though the front bumper is plastic all the way around to the wheel arches.

Technically steel is an alloy but "steel alloy" is usually reserved for steel with additional metals. . Does the OP mean aluminium alloy ? Try a magnet and see what happens. Jules

Stick a magnet on it. If it sticks..... steel. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

The FL1 had both plastic front wings and bumber, not so on the FL2.

grade 420 and 430 Stainless Steel .... is magnetic .....

They ain’t gonna use that on the wings.

It’ll corrode unless hardened, and if hardened it’ll snap off at the fixings after a few miles Regards
