Phone symbol disappeared and Parking Sensors won't work

I was recently reading a comprehensive explanation and details of renewing a control unit somewhere beneath the boot area. Despite my efforts I cannot now find the post and shall be most grateful if anybody can direct me to the appropriate page.

Some information about the vehicle would be helpful, as different years and specifications have different modules installed. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Gone.
2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. Gone.
Audi A5 convertible, my daily driver.
1972 Hillman Avenger GT, the project.

Phone icon not on the radio screen you mean?
Do all other audio functions work?
What happens when you press the PDC button on the dash? Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

All other audio functions appear to work ok as does the Sat Nav.. When the Parking assist button is pressed it gives a constant tone for 4 seconds approx and the small aperture blinks whilst the bleep takes place then goes off. The phone image does not appear on the media screen any time including when ignition is on and the phone present and on. The 'menu' only contains Clock which is fine and functions normally but twiddling the knob brings up Clock and nothing else.

If a fuse is not responsible which seems unlikely, I think a trip to the stealers is on the cards.

The very comprehensive posting has come to light. It is well worth a read on the subject of my posting.

I'm guessing that the BT module has failed.
Have you run a full diagnostic to see what fault codes come up?
Here's the BT module, behind the RH boot side trim panel.

Yes, its looking that way. Can live without the phone ftb but really missing the parking sensors. Favourite car ever but beginning to show its age and costing me accordingly. C'est la vie
