Well, it has been a long time coming, but it has been absolutely worth it.

Thanks! Regarding the driving lamps - I needed the additional lighting and since there isn't a bull bar available in Australia, there are not many if any other options to fit extra lighting without the car looking peculiar.
They are! Also use them to spot feral animals like pigs, camels, cows, buffalo, people ![]() |

No, the fog lights are still turned on and off with their buttons. You get a new switch installed in the panel above where the light controls are. Thanks about the colour. I did look at black, but up here where I live in the NT, red dust is rampant year round so it would look great for about a minute. |

Would'nt think you have much use for the standard fog lights in Katherine ![]() ![]() How effective are these extra spots ![]() ![]() Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

Gorgeous colour!! Would have chosen it if it had been available 6 months earlier before I ordered the red!

Good to see you have changed your location Dave - to a more suitable one I would say ![]() Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

Yeah, fog lights are not required in Katherine, but it is amazing just how many people do use them 'just because they are there' ![]()
Quite effective. I need to adjust one of them down a bit as it seems to like 'koala spotting' (or light up the tree tops).
No, the Xenon headlights were on the HSE, which would have put me in luxury car tax, and I refuse to pay an additional tax on something just because I worked hard to get where I am. I think that they were also part of the Technology Pack, which had some horrendous price tag attached to it. |

Funny thing is that Martinique Blue wasn't supposed to be available in Australia for the MY09 - we were supposed to have Caspian Blue. I like that colour from the pictures I have seen posted here, but I really wanted the Martinique Blue, and glad that Land Rover Australia were able to get it for me. We went camping this weekend and a lot of people were impressed and surprised by the car and its' capabilities without having a traditional low range. ![]() Just a little bit dirty... ![]() |
