Wing

Had a car hit my near side front wing, looks like it my need replacing, anybody replaced one? anybody know of cheaper than LR replacement wings? Had a guesstimate of 700 to£1000, I know who it was just trying to get a cheaper option for them rather than going though the insurance company. Common sense isn't very common.

+1 for Gentlemen of Salvage, I rang them and had a chat regarding a "wing episode" recently. I am getting is repaired locally however, cost c. £350, but they were very helpful. They list on Ebay.

Powerful Uk £155 Part No. LR2W950-L.
Not genuine, but really rate Simon and the crew and they tend to stock decent stuff.

I bought one of the powerful uk wings. My body shop took one look at it and repaired the damaged wing on the car. You could see press marks all across the new panel that would need filling and sanding before it could be painted and fitted.

Five star auto salvage in Ipswich had a few freelanders in when I got a door, in the correct colour, for mine. Was about a year ago but is only a phone call. Fair few kicking around on Ebay too.
