United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Zermatt Silver
MAF sensor part number.

Anyone know what the part number is for MAF sensor for a pre face lift diesel. Mine is a 2009. The only number I can find is LR019830 or LR019830G. Both are listed for models after 2011. They may be the same but I am not sure.
Any compatible part number would also help. I think the original one is a Pierburg, but not sure. Thumbs Up Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.

I think the G just means it's a genuine Land Rover part.

Thanks for that.
I also looked at Advanced Factors and could only find the MAF sensor for the later model.
Just goes to show I am rubbish at doing a search.
I rarely find what I am looking for on this site either. Laughing

Edit
That number is for Bearmach or Britpart
Pierburg number 7.22184.76.0

Other numbers which reference this MAF from different manufacturers.
MAF008S
VE700228
XAM4004
ADJ137402
AF1025412B1

As I said earlier, I think the Pierburg is the OEM just in a Landrover box.
If I am wrong please let me know. Thumbs Up Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !

I bought a genuine Ford on eBay £25 after checking that the one in my connect van worked ok . The LR ones have Ford on them anyway.

HAAS 434590251 Air Mass Meter

Hope this helps 😁

Gasman, is this the continuing saga of your “ long cranking “ issue?

I have a similar starting issue which I think is related to the MAF sensor but didn’t want to post on your thread, until I’d fitted a new one and hopefully resolved things.

My new part is in the post 🤞. Back in the fold after 8 yrs. V8 Disco 300 series-Gone.07 Freelander 2 HSE Auto Rimini Red.

Thanks for the replies and part numbers, I'll try and find somewhere to keep them.
Soul Fan.
Spot on. I've been reading that a MAF sensor can be faulty and not through a trouble code. Symptoms being:
1/ Long crank before starting.
2/ Smoke on startup, due to incorrect air/fuel mixture.
3/ Increased fuel consumption, due to incorrect air/fuel mixture.

I have all of these issues and have just had to clean and flush the variable geometry mechanism on the turbo again. For the same reasons.

Although the MAF sensor is about four years old, thought I would have nothing to loose by changing it.

I know it has to be an air/fuel issue but what, and what is causing it. Rolling Eyes Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.

I bought a Hitachi one on ebay for under £10.
I've not installed it yet to see if it works correctly, but as mine is now 120k miles old, I figured I'd see if a cheap replacement version makes any difference to the way the engine runs.

There's a MAF calibration routine to run using SDD, which appears to be required, for the ECM to set a new baseline for MAF parameters. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Hi Nodge.
I didn't know about the service routine in SDD.
Where would I find that ? Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !

I can't remember now. I found it by accident while carrying out other calibrations after fitting a new cylinder head.
I'm hoping to install a new MAF and air filter next week, so will do a MAF calibration then.
I'll make a note to remember where the calibration routine is found in SDD when I do it. Thumbs Up Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
