Check the air filter in case it has gotten wet. I had a similar problem a few years ago on a Vauxhall that had been driven through bonnet high water. The air filter had basically became a big sodden mess that had gotten partially sucked up the air intake pipe blocking it. Good luck! |

Quite common on the FL2's even in heavy rain/going through puddles etc. |

check the sensor on the air intake after the air filter, maf sensor,its probably wet. |

Yes I think it is worth it from memory it’s supposed to restrict water getting in but allow water out. |

Re, the one way drain rubber grommet, yes. if there is any potential of driving through standing water. If you search here, there is a thread that will give you a reference to a generic grommet made for household plumbing that works as a perfect replacement per that thread. |

pulling off the maf wiring,reverts the ecu to default setting,a good temp fix for us at the road side. |
