wheel arch trim / linings

Has anyone found that the metal wheel arch trim gets a bit buckled that goes round the wheel arches on all 4 corners? I think this trim is pretty cheap to replace even from Land Rover?
Also, the wheel arch linings also seem to be coming a bit loose and out of shape on the car, has anyone had these replaced before? Is LR or aftermarket the way to go? thanks

There’s lots on here about this many don’t bother replacing them some coat with Waxoyl and replace with rubber trim with no metal from EBay etc.

Three of mine were power washed off at the local east european car wash. I saw the bloke fumbling around by one of the rear wheels but I did not get out to see what he was doing as I did not want a soaking. After a short while he opened the tailgate and closed it. When I got home I opened the tailgate and the so and so had put the three trims in the load space. I heard a clunk on the way home which I presume was the fourth one falling off as it was not there when I got home.

I have not replaced them and it seems to make no difference.

I don't use that car wash any more. Lesson learned: wash the car yourself.
