Have the reduced engine performance message, no eml, reduced revs.
Over half tank of fuel
Fitted new fuel filter, still on.
Checked hoses, fine.
Used a simple code reader - p042 egr stuck
Made a home made blank plate, fitted it and it ran fine with no messages for 24hrs then back to reduced performance.
Any suggestions?

Try unplugging the egr valve
If you still get problems get it mapped out or swapped
Unplugging it is not easy its a pig to get to removal and refit looks a pig never done it mind
