I also use Milenco mirrors, the Grand Aero. Not sure if they are available in France.

I use the Milenco Aero mirrors too and they do fit even with both top and bottom mirror caps fitted. They have to be mounted on the underside of the mirror rather than on the top as there is not enough black plastic left showing for them to grip properly on the top surface of the mirror. I also have the Grand Aeros but they do not seem to secure when fitted to the top of the mirror as the top of the mirror casing is not straight and I cannot seem to get a good hold that I am confident with, it is worse when wet, but if I fit them to the bottom of the mirror they will foul on the door when you lock the car. how have Tandemman Grumpa 2 and Nick fitted their mirrors, like MikeW? I may be a bit more confident of them staying on if they still had the thick rubber band but Milenco say it is not needed. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

I fit mine on the top with no problem but I have thought about putting a slight kink in the arm to follow the profile of the top of the mirror. |

Sounds like you got malicious viruses as well apro another thread bad back The chickens are eating eight tonnes of food a day and I ran out this morning in one shed. So I bagged a couple of tonnes up and fed them with that. Now Ive sprained my back and it hurts like hell Mrs G said I was silly for not lifting correctly and gave me a pain killing tablet by throwing it on the floor and making me pick it up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Many Thanks grumpa 2 I have fitted mine with the slight kink that you suggested and it works a treat, I now get both clamps fully on to the mirror and they no longer start to slip off when tightening. It is not to late to get a patent on the modbefore the idea catches on. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |
