EGR live values on Autel maxiapp 200

Here's a strange one, or maybe not to the knowledgeable. Whilst looking at live readings for map and maff sensors we also looked at EGR, We both have identical vehicles 2007 HSE with the egr blanking plate, my plate was in already when I purchased it and hubby put his in recently. The voltage at idle and 2000 rpm was 1.4v and 1.64 and for mine 1.29v and 1.6v, so very similar, the other reading we saw was EGR ERROR, this is where the 2 vehicles differed and we are left wondering if one of our vehicles has an issue ? EGR ERROR idle 750 rpm.. 87% and 2000RPM minus -64% ! mine was 49% at idle 750 rpm and at 2000 rpm it was 78% any ideas?, I cannot find anything on the net which refers reading for a blanked EGR

The car has no way of knowing that the EGR is blanked, so the code reader doesn't know this either. It can only report what the car is telling it.

Those readings are for the valve actuator position, so regardless of blanking a faulty EGR will continue to record code errors and, if it records enough errors, will put the Engine Management Light (EML) on (which is an MOT fail). This is why I went to the effort of fitting a new EGR (old one was completely nailed) and then blanking. Blanking a faulty one will give you some or all power back, but it won't stop the EML coming on over time. Current driveway contents:
