Cracked car grill repair

My daughter's car grill has been knocked causing a crack, please see pictures attached. It looks like it should be a simple matter to bring the broken parts together but the question I have is what is the best method of fixing them together? Is it suitable for glueing and if so which glue? If glue is not the best method what is? Any help and advice be very much appreciated.

Weld together from the rear using a soldering iron and black cable ties as the filler material. im sure there is utube video on how to do it. Jules

Depending on the plastic, nail varnish remover may weld the plastic. Be extremely careful not to get any on any paint on the car.

Use a cable tie or two to temporarily clamp everything together. Capillary action with a fine artist brush will get the solvent into the joint.

If that doesn't work, 24 hour Araldite, not the 5 minute stuff. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Hi and thanks for your input which I will discuss with my daughter when I see her next which might be awhile as she works for the NHS in the 999 call centre and is having to do so much overtime she sleeps during her time off!

Again thanks for your help

Looking at the photo again, sikaflex black rtv sealant would also do a fantastic and permanent repair. Just mask all the outside faces of the grill so that any excess doesn't get on the front . Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
