My freelander 2 2.2 2011 TD4 GS Cranking but not starting

Hello

Last week I bought a freelander2 2011 and I will not start. It’s cranking very nice and sound good but not starting. No fuel coming to the engine, even after manual priming the car will bull air from tank. I have little bit less than 1/2 tank of diesel. The only code on engine is Low fuel pressure. And the body control module has one code fuel pump authorization.

I removed and checked the HP pump. And noticed missing green seal on fuel pressure regulator valve on HP pump. I don’t know how come it’s not there.

- fuel transfer pump in tank is working I emptied the tank and refilled with diesel and I can hear it clear transferring the fuel.

- throttle body removed and checked and it look good. Fitted back and adapted with turbo regulator valve and EGR. All ok.

- Crankshaft position sensor replaced and car reads RPM.

From live data. I can see some basing reading on diesel rail 1- fuel pressure sensor on rail is too high 620 on ignition on and rail is empty. Fuel pressure regulator valve on rail is too high 37500 kpa and normal reading should be max 20000 kpa

Any advice?

Could there be a blockage ? Just thinking, high pressure but no fuel in the rail.

Did the problem come on suddenly or slowly ?

When was it last serviced and fuel filter changed. People have had issues with non-genuine fuel filters. Jules

I found 2 leaky injectors. Leak off test and cranking both injectors no giving any back fuel. Removed and found one big hole instead of tiny sprayer.

How did you do the leak off test?
The returns are under pressure. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.
