To cancel out the reverse sensors you will have a to activate the tow package with JLR SDD and a mongoose cable or use a GAP iid tool or have LR enable it. Do a search on this site and welcome to the FL2/LR2 and JLR SDD and "brown" pants |

Stussy has a 2014 car so I was hoping it would be like mine - just plug the loom in and away you go; rear sensors deactivated just by connecting everything up per instructions - no need for SSD.

Towing electrics were fully plug and play from Model Year 13 - with Land Roverβs own electrics. The Land Rover kit disabled the rear parking sensors and the car's rear fog lights and enabled the dashboard trailer indicator lamp. No idea to what extent third party kits replicate those functions though. . |

^^^ Great news, to the OP, then it's plug and play, 30-40 minute job and there are posts on this site on how to remove the boot inner trim!

Great if the car has 12N/12S (twin 7 pin) electrics and the caravan has 13 pinβ¦ β¦ but it isn't going to turn single 7 pin electrics (β β β as per the OP β β β ) into twin or 13 pin electrics.

I think this is the kit you need⦠VPLFT0106 - Freelander 2 - DH onwards. £136.plus delivery. https://www.devon4x4.com/vplft0106-freelan...dh-on.html My car {MY13) is 'DH' and the image looks pretty much like the kit I fitted way back in 2014. |

Can't remember what mine cost but it was offset by the private sale (on here iirc) of the electrics from my MY10 car. The LR detachable tow bar from that car is on my current car and both the tow bar and the earlier electrics were a dealer fitted freebie. |
