Lower control arm bushes

Evening everyone. I’m looking for some advice as my lower control arms have a tiny weep of oil from the rear hydralastic bush. The units concerned are approx 2 months old Delphi. These replaced another set of Delphi ones which leaked after 3 months 3000miles. I contacted Delphi technical who said these parts may be under investigation and to return them to the supplier Bearmach for replacement. The new ones had identical numbering on so I’m assuming from the same batch. A friend also had a Delphi one fail just outside of 12months old. Has anyone else had issues?
When installing them I fitted them loosely, lowered the car to the ground before tightening to correct value. Car has no knocks and drives completely straight. Thanks

Delphi are usually fine. It might be a batch problem.

I'd go back to Bearmach and see what they say, and maybe go with OEM/genuine ones. Jules

Delphi are supposed to be oem or at least that’s the impression I got. I’m trying to work out whether the oil drip is just oil from the manufacturing process ,or whether the bush itself is leaking.

I never noticed any leaks from the bushes any of my FL2s - had 2 from new and the current one was 4 months old.

FWIW site sponsor AF has several arms:

I've used Meyle and Lemforder parts in the past for my BMW - no issues. Jules
