Key fob

Hi everyone
My key fobs have both stopped working and won’t lock or unlock the car. I’m thinking it’s the batteries so will replace them as I did when I first got the car several years ago.
In the meantime I am unable to manually lock the car. Should the emergency key lock the car as well as unlock it? (Mine doesn’t). Is there another way of locking it without a working key fob?

Might need some dry graphite lube. If that doesn't work, a little squirt of wet lube.

If the car has been standing unused for more than 28 days it goes into a deep sleep and it will not respond to the fobs. You have to get in manually with the key, obviously you'll fix that issue first.
