Funny you ask this. I purchased a Stornoway grey kit from Halfords.

The problem with any touch up paint is the depth of the paint when applied, which though is laborious the spray can is better, trying to get the touch up properly mixed the applied usually tends to end in a darker shade, you then need to cut back or wet&dry to a thinner layer. Metalics and micatalics rely on the undercoat and the thickness of the top coat to match, then you need to spray on the lacquer to seal the match, the touch up will always produce a darker shade even if correctly mixed due to the paint thickness, if not you can get a multitude of shades even streaks. So basically spray on one quick coat, allow to dry, cut back the over spray, Cif is pretty good and check the match, if light repeat until matched my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
