Turns out it was not the fuel pump - The camshaft broke! Everyone saying never heard of that on a SD4, just our luck whilst Discovery same time breakdown is costly with Turbos and MAF.

Before comments - FL2 has impeccable LR service history from day 1. The warranty says they will only pay for Camshaft, no other breakages. What's the point of a warranty?

Who is your Warranty with?

Try looking up the name and contact details for the Warranty Company Managing Director and appeal to them, and the MD of the Garage (or Garage Chain). Get as much as possible in writing, but be nice - but persistent.

Even if there are no guarantees that the warranty company will pay out, there may be goodwill payments, and failing that a recognised way of escalating and appealing. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)

(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)
