Hi members, this may be of use to you. For a few weks now i have put up with the front passenger door not unlocking correctly.
It would only unlock after several attemps with the remote and i noticed the small black lever was not moving. Decide to explore this morning. On removing the door card i spotted the outer cable had popped out of it,s retainer. Job sorted, but not wanting it to happen again i drilled a small hole in the plastic directly below the retainer and fed a small cable tie through and around the outer cable. Now works fine with no chance of coming adrift in the future. Hope this is of use.
