I have had this issue twice… the first time a new battery (replacing the factory fit original) cured it but a couple of years on and yet another new battery, the warning remained permanently illuminated after the first one or two hundred metres following start up.

As Reggie says - If you are getting strange faults (especially randomly and/or on startup)) then getting a new battery often cures the problem. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011) FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015) Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History (Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?) |

Hi, I did come across a recall to change the brushes in the pump motor the other week on the Haldex. Apparently there was a batch with weak springs that stop the brushes wearing down far. |
