2013 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

Airbag warning light - rear heated screen?

Hi folks,

Does anyone have any idea why all of a sudden my amber airbag warning light on the dashboard comes on when I switch on my rear heated screen?

When I switch the rear heated screen off again, the airbag warning light goes off again!

It very odd. I have a 2013 TD4 XS. Would a 'hard reset' do anything?

I'd say you have a "bridging" electrical issue. A grounding issue. Try the hard reset but pulling the specific fuses may also help isolate the problem.
